Since our arrival in 2018, we have never stopped visiting tourist or natural sites. The sector is so rich in incredible places, that we will not be able to list all the sites that we love and revisit regularly...

The Vézère ValleyClassified as a Grand Site de France

The Vézère Valley, with its 20 communes, was recently classified as a Grand Site de France.

Inhabited for millennia by humans, the site presents multiple traces of occupation prehistoric (caves, troglodyte dwellings, etc.) but also many more recent buildings which contribute to the attractiveness of the valley (castles, churches, etc.) and bear witness to the historical interest of the site.

The Vézère valley is also included on the UNESCO World Heritage list for 15 of its caves and prehistoric sites, including the famous Lascaux Cave.

Canoe enthusiasts, we are only 1.5 km from the Vézère, with numerous departures from canoe trips to discover this beautiful river.

Soon, the new greenway will pass 1.5 km from the house. In the process of receiving the Accueil Vélo label, we we are at the heart of a very large network of marked paths for hiking, horse riding, or cycling.
